Can I buff out easypoxy paint?

I recently painted a boat I am rebuilding with Easypoxy paint (first time I have used it) and after painting it looked great - shiny and smooth. The next day it rained out (i know I shouldn't have painted that close to rain!) and now the finish is flat instead of shiny. Can I buff it out like I would a automotive finish? And if yes how long should I wait after painting to buff? Thanks for all advice in advance.

i asked the same question to the manager at west marine, i used a product from interlux and he advised me not to wax for atleast 3 months...i would check with the manufacturer - im sure they have a website or 800 number on the back of the can
