Can anyone tell me the weight of a 1965 Merc 650?

looking for the weight of this old beast: 1965 Mercury 650

Light enough for me to grab & grunt 1 out of a 2012+/- Malibu (rental) trunk.

Heavy enough I never want to do it again .....

I dont know the actual weight, but it wasnt light. IIRC it was a long shaft.

Why?

About 106 KG -or 235 LBS I would guess.----Will have to look for a 71 or earlier brochure as it may list it.

a 1974 650 long weighed 195#

But , but , but the 1974 model 650 was a flimsy 3 cylinder compared to the rugged 4 cylinder of 1971 and earlier !!

Building a stand and don’t want it dropping on me. Mine is a long shaft as well and had zero fun wrastlin’ it out of my Jeep

Just looked at a 1968 and 1971 brochure.----They do not list weights in those years.----In a 1980 brochure the 4 cylinder 80 HP is listed at 251 LBS.----Essentially the same parts and pieces as the model 650 --4 cylinder.------Build your stand so that skeg sits on the floor or a wood block to take the majority of the weight.

Yes it was. But its a starting point.

If you include the pallet I shipped it on, it was 272 #. LOL

So fellas here is the new question:
Does anyone know what belongs in between the fuel pumps as there are threaded holes as in the attached picture?
Lastly any ideas on what this wire is(pic3)....maybe ground for rectifier (which would be confusing to me since it is red)
