can anyone help?

I have a tilt only set up on a 1971 100hp evinrude. The wires have a switch for up/down and then there are two wires or two sets of wires that have 3 spade type connectors. Can sommene tell me where to start?

I am trying to hook up tilt to my 85 hp evinrude that is on my boat. But fiirst I want to make sure it works so I wanted to get it working before I start taking things apart.
