Can anyone help with this question

Hello guys I have a question for whomever may be able to answer I have a 1997 sugar Sand heat XR sport it has a Merc cruiser 95 horsepower jet motor I am wondering if I would be able to put a larger power head on there so that I can acquire more horsepower if someone can tell me the largest one that I can put on or does someone else know an easier way of gaining more horsepower for the boat. I would certainly appreciate the help anyone can give thank you

Have the impeller and wear ring checked for
tolerances, replace if needed ?????

I'm not an expert on these by any means.

I believe, however, that it is not really financially possible to just replace the head on those motors for more power.

You will, more than likely, have to buy a rebuilt 120 hp power head already built up and recoup some money by selling your 90.

Plenty of 120's for sale on the net.
