Boatist is correct. There are a few small lakes in California where two strokes are banned and will continue to be banned,Lake Tahoe is one of the larger ones where these outboards are banned.<br />Two strokes have not been banned in the lakes operated by the Corp of Engineers,many of the larger ones. I own a 1964 75hp Evinrude, which I <br />expect to operate until it dies, or I die,whichever comes first. I don't see how a preowned outboard can sell as new.
