9 months to be a mall cop! dang, high standards down there, LOL:lol:

Lipp good job bud, congrats:)

Paul Blart! Lol

Speaking of hunting, after the harsh winter and a lot of deer not making it, it sounds like bucks only up here. Deer harvest will be way down...

Here's how me and my daughter roll. We use 2 individual swedish cots(the springy kind) with foam over the top and the bag. very comfy......

Done a lot of tent camping with a sleeping bag & thin camping pad on the uneven ground. Ok when I was 29, not so much at 49. I like a well-inflated air mattress between me and Mother Earth now :)

+1, not a total puss but prefer comfort to a shell scrape

That's why I use a cot now. At more than 49(not much) that cot feels darn good. Not sure why I waited so long......

Several years ago I was introduced to hammock camping. I thought the idea was ridiculous until I noticed the hammock campers were getting a good nights sleep. I tried it and was amazed on how simple and comfortable it was. My last camping trip was with the scouts and even though it got down to 28 degrees I slept like a baby in my hammock. NO more cots, air mattresses and bulky tents for me!

The MT Dew light looks interesting, I want to try that.
I wonder what the chemical reaction is that makes it glow??

I spent many years tenting. then I met the better half. her first motorcycle trip was with a tent. it rained for four days straight. the next year we went to a family reunion. most of my relatives used trailers, we were tenting. it downpoured for seven days straight. my uncle came up to me and commented "I bet next year you aren't in a tent". next year was a 24' trailer with most amentities. had it a few years until lightning got it.

now days we have a 30 footer with everything. I even upgraded the queen size mattress to a tempurpedic so it would be even better than being at home.

I still have the tent and a jeep and I'm not afraid to go out "roughing it" but if it's a family trip, we hook up the rolling condo. recently took a 4 wheeling trip, friends brought their tent. ah huh they didn't even set it up, just crashed in the camper with us.
