Call I pull a tube with my boat?

Hey all!

I have a 2004 16.5 foot boat with a Mercury 2 stroke 50hp engine, also 2004.

Is this enough power to pull a tube?

I have a 4 year old, and he would likely be on the tube with me as my wife drives. I am about 195 pounds.

In the boat would be my wife, who weighs much less than me, our 2 year old daughter and maybe 2 other adults. If we are all in the boat I can get to 31mph.

I'm not sure if that is enough info, let me know if you need more.

Yes for a four year old that is plenty if you can run thirty mph that is enough for pulling a tube for most any how.

you put 4 adults and 2 kids in a 16.5 foot boat with a 50 and get on plane let alone run 31mph?

the tube should be fine for a young one. I've had fun pulling kids with a 15hp fishing boat.
