And after nearly 20yrs, the particular boats actual condition and maintenance record is more important than how good or bad it might be in general.

Yes, that makes sense. But in this case I looked at the boat and listened to the sellers situation and decided to make a bargain hunting offer. There’s still sea trial and survey and engine inspection to journey through before it’s final. So…I still prefer honest opinions, if anyone has any, on specific or general compliments or complaints.
