is it true that in CA, if a vessel hasn't been registered for 7 years, it'll drop off the system? and I can transfer title and no need to pay any back fees?
FWIW, went to AAA, the girl there told me, if it's still on the system, then you just pay 3 yrs of reg, if not then you just 1 year. I think it's $20 per yr. so at best, it's 20, at worst it's 60.
