Bypassing Oil Pump

I have a 1986 200hp Yamaha L200ETXJ. I am having a problem with the warning buzzer going off and the motor missfiring until I back down off plain. This only happens when I go over a large enough wave that the boat has a good jolt when the wave is hit. As soon as I back off the throttle into neutral, the alarm stops and the motor runs fine. When I bring back on plain and hit a larger wave, the process is repeated. On calm days, no issues whatsoever. My oil pump has never pumped and is approx half full. I am thinking that the jolt is causing the oil to slosh and the low oil sensor to go off causing all of my problems. Is there a way to disconnect or bypass my low oil sensor on the motor? Btw, there is no auxilary pump installed and as I said, the pump on the motor does not work and I have always just mixed the fuel.

Thanks for the help!!!
