buzzer (alarm) problems please help

hello thier new to this forum sorry if i don't explain my self correctly. OK i have a 1995 yamaha 2 stroke saltwater series that i am getting the alarm to go off on i was cruising down the channel just after leaving the boat ramp and all was fine for about 5 min, when of course all of a sudden the alarm goes off. I pull over and check water, water is warm, remove cowling heads are warm to touch. Scratching my head i go in limp mode to ramp and luckly a border patrol mechanic offers to help he explains to me that the buzzer seems to be going off due to oil(oil injection removed) he checked water flow and tells me that the problem could be due to a bad ground

i recently removed heads clean replaced gaskets changed pressure valve and housing and installed new power tech prop every thing got torqued to specs i am stumped don't know where to start

could some one please explain to me what wires need to be disconected when removing oil injection parts thank you guys for any help that is given

does that motor have a model #, cause I am not sure how many different 1995 2 strokes models were made.

Why did you remove it and what all have you done so far on the removal?

Heythanks for the fast response i bought the boat used about 4 years ago with about 175 psi on each piston it worked extremly well untill about 1 month ago, it did not have the oil injection setup when i purchased it so i have since day one mixed two stroke oil the previous owner deleted it. All that i have done is remove the heads and caps cleaned and replaced gaskets and the pressure reliev valve. Which was siezed and in my opinion culprit to my original problem and housing located under the coil pack, water pump was recently changed including housing and all new hardware all parts used where yamaha parts. thanks and all help is apreciated i dont exactly know or have the model number when i order parts they tell me that the only difrence in motors is longer shafts i believe its either a tlru or a txru not shure again the plate on the motor was lost at one time before i bought it but i due know it is a 115 hp saltwater series two stroke

We still have no idea of what motor you are talking about as most 2 stokes do not have 175 compression

Sorry for the wrong information guys i was tierd from waking up early to go on my fishing trip and kinda bumbed out spending all that cash and no fishing trip. Ok it is a 1996 yamaha outboard, two stroke either an s115tlru or a s115txru that is how i have been ordering parts from my local yamaha dealer i bielieve the only difrence is the longer shaft

The U says it is a 1996 model and I did not think any of the carbed motors ran that high of compression. Did you measure it yourself?
Oil level is the only thing to set of oil alarm
and over heat alarm is from temperature switch pink wire going to ground, at least I think that is true for motors without ECUs

Is it still alarming after it cooled off when you turned key on?

Ithink that is what it measured whare i bought it at south padre island boat sales and yes when i turned off the motor remove key and restarted problem persisted when ever i tried to get into plane i removed thermostats at the dock and i believe it got worse the alarm would sound any time i would exelerate and it started making a chirping sound at all time while it was on and that is when he told me it seed like a ground problom he also mentioned that i needed to make shure all the wires that ran the oil injection were disconnected

I got a chance to work on the motor today and got to cheking all electrical connections. grounds from where the coils are into the heads seemed like i forgot to clean after painting them so i started cheking all of the wireing i discoverd that on the right hand side of the motor (if you are standing behind it)thier is a big black cover inside thier was two grounds that are bolted togeter, these were loose and very dirty so i cleaned them up. I have gone over every thing i did and cant figure out why my alarm would have gone off. I just wish that the water was Not an hour drive away to go and test my boat
