Buying Swim Platform Need to Match Hull Color

All,

I have a 1994 VIP and am adding a swim platform. What is the best way to provide the vendor with a color match so they can match the hull? They have suggested the use of the Home Depot Behr colors charts to get close. Is there a better way? Can I reach the manufacturer (I don't think they are in business)? Spectrum color (don't know how to find it there though)?

All ideas appreciated.
