Re: Buying a truck 500 miles away
Update
The truck arrived on time at the bank. It arrived as promised in “like new” condition except for some hairline scratches. I’m very happy with the long distance purchase except for two minor things that I’m just going to ignore. The first thing is that there is a lot of plastic on the body. The grille, fenders and wheel wells are all plastic. I guess that’s how it is when you want power and fuel economy. The second things is that every visible surface on the engine is covered with a light film of clean oil. I think they did this to make it shiny. Anyone know why? All in all it’s a solid 4 wheel drive that I plan on enjoying for a long time.
