In about ten states you could be arrested for doing what you are planning on doing on your Seadoo... Laughing.. The fishermen won't know whether to wave at ya or flip you off. But seriously if you plan on doing all that off a PWC I would suggest a pretty big one that is stable. So when you are fishing you can move around a little without it tipping too much.

A 3 seater would work but not as well as a conventional boat, IMO.

I have a 3 seat SeaDoo GTI and it doesn't have the "bite" that a propeller boat has, especially out of the hole. The SeaDoo takes probably 10 seconds to drag a tube up on top of the water, while a 16' outboard would take about 2 seconds.
Fishing- well, a regular boat is just better. No rod holders or livewells on a PWC, and no way to move around.

The one thing a PWC <IS> very good at is just blastin' around. Nothing else on the water is as much fun.
I've boated for over 40 years and I've found the best solution is to have more than one boat. I keep a cruiser for travelling in comfort, a fishing boat for um, fishing, and a PWC for fun and speed.

The best SUV on the water is a 16-19' bowrider. It'll do everythng you want without breaking the bank.

Re: buying a new seadoo?

I own a pontoon for fishing and 2 sea doo gtx 4 stroke skies for playing,, however I do fish and even throw a 7 foot cast net off the back of my sea doo's I plan on fishing with mine today because I can,, lol. the gtx has a very stable hull,, and for tubes and slalom skiing it works great with 155 hp,, stay away from the supercharged skies.
Use a cooler , build pole holders on the cooler, put your bait bucket tackle box cast net etc. in the cooler, and have the cooler attach to the rear deck of your ski, then you just put it on when you want to fish and remove it when you don't.
