Looks like its going to be a done deal. We all wish you the best of luck. Please come back in a year with an update on how much additional money you had to spend to get her reliable.
Lol it’s not a done deal. As much as I like the layout of the boat I am going to pass. I posted this for advice, I received advice, and now I’m going to follow it.

I have an update for everyone, I bought a boat! Not the boat the post is about, but a different one. I picked up this 1999 Bayliner Capri 1850 SS. I bought it from the original owner who is an 80 year old woman. She bought a brand new pontoon this year. The boat has service records from every year for the last 15 years. Every single year before boating season she would get all the fluids and filters changed, replace the water pump, and get a new battery. It also got a brand new motor 10 years ago. The boat is in amazing shape with just a little over 300 hours and I’m super excited to get it out on the water. Thank you everyone for your words of wisdom.

The best boats any of my friends bought were from old ladies.

After you get he in the water and have a good test, be sure to call her and offer a a ride. Maybe she has a hot daughter (or Grand daughter). If you are married, forget my idea.

You must be very excited to have a new-to-you boat. Maybe consider starting a new thread to show us what you got, and close-ups of the things you have questions about

Congrats and good luck. It sounds like you found a decent one. My first and only house came the same way. It had the contract from Sears when it was built in the 1950s, and every receipt from all of the work the lady had done on it ever since.

Enjoy your new ride.

Congratulations on your boat, hope it is everything you are looking for. I have passed on boats that I really wanted because of questions about structural issues. My wife has always told me the right one will come along. It did. $150.00 for a 16ft alumacraft that was gutted but had all the parts. Took me 2 yrs to rebuild and another year to find a good motor on a budget. Had alot of help from folks here. Now I have a boat that I've always wanted. Total price $500.00 That's everything. Enjoy your boat and take as good care of it as the previous owner.
