I am a new boat owner with many questions. Where do i start. Ok, the bulge pump. When i turn on my bulge pump i can hear it working but nothing is comming out. Can a bulge pump clog, and what is the best way to fix it if it is clogged? Thanks

It's bilge, not bulge, are you sure the water is deep enough for the pump to pick it up? The water has to be deeper than the slots in the pump base in order for it to pump anything.
Of course, if it's clogged, it won't pump. You need to pull the pump out of the base and check.

How hard is it to pull the bilge pump?

With ten thousand different kinds of boats and every bilge is different, and hundreds of different pumps, it's somewhere between easy, and pull the engine to get to it.

You have it in front of you, if you can't see it or get to it, it's hard.
