If it's one I made it gets mustard on the bottom bun, maybe pickle on top.

I do like many variants, but not so much stuff on it where I can't taste the meat. Also not a fan of culvers, DQ and steak n shake are about the only fast food burgers i can take. I need real ground beef.

I do not know about the spelling Tim, because when its like that outside it sucks the heat out of everything and your paying through the pocket to stay warm

Our local Big Boy has closed.

For years before they closed their sign was only lighting 4 of the 6 letters at night.

Because of that I always refer to the chain as igbee. "_ig B_y"

For some reason I never wanted to try the food.

A good burger starts with a delicious slab of elk steak, chopped up coarsely and formed into a 1/2 lb patty with a little bit of Worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt and pepper mixed in, then seared on a hot grill with a hickory wood fire. Don't forget to toast the bun while you are at it! The last minute of grilling, a thick slab of mozzarella or swiss cheese is added to the top. Place a bed of lettuce and tomato on the bottom side of the bun and nestle the burger on top of that. A small amount of home made mayo and ketchup on top, then the top bun. Is your mouth watering yet? Mine is!

Top the patty with Blue Cheese, just some, not smothered along with whatever else you like and it will
add a zesty little somthin', sumthin' to your burger.....
or...
Blue Cheese Dressing as a dipping Sauce for your Chicken Wings(sorry Off Topic)

Never thought I was in a never had it thread, but I'd surely try an elk burger.
