Hey Fellow Boaters

I have 1977 Thunderbird Tri-hull and want to build a baitwell in it. I have a seat that goes all the way across the back I was thinking of putting it there in the middle so it will be equalized. I need about a twenty gallon tank. Any ideas would be helpful.

Got a ton of ideas, but here is just a couple to get you started...buy a cooler that will fit in there and add a bubbler to it...you could also get a livewell kit from places like basspro, which come witha pump, connections, hoses and an aerator...

You could also source an old aluminum fuel tank on craigslist that will fit in the space you have, cut the top off, add the necessary plumbing and put a lid on it...

One more idea is to build one from plywood, covered in resin and cloth, then coat it with gelcoat, add the required plumbing, etc...

Have fun and post some pictures of what you end up doing...we'd all like to see...
