Second morning of a hard frost. The silver lining is LESS grass cutting!

Highs in the low 70's, nights in the upper 30's to low 40's. Beautiful weather ... only better weather will be when it gets cold enough to start snowing!

The only turf outside my front door is the astroturf on the front deck, and the lake has kept the immediate area frost free so far. Thats TWO more good reasons to liveaboard!

Although, I must sadly admit, I have 3 more weeks before I have to put the boat up and move back ashore.

Hmmm...62? this morning with a high of 86?. No need to ever winterize here. The boating season doesn't end, you just dress a little warmer and make sure the cabin stays 72?.

Don't be a hater...

'bout the same in Nashville.

I'll make fun of you now while it's starting to get cold, but in a few months when it does dip into the freezing temperatures you can ask me about getting hold of a gallon of milk or a loaf of bread

Re: Brrrrrrr.

We have cool mornings, warm afternoons, great weather, this weekend it has a 50% chance of rain and the with the NE winds it is not a boating weekend. The little creek behind my house is rolling a 1 to 2 foot chop, the sound is much worse.

Been 80?(that's 20? above average!) and sunny all week with little to no wind. Very windy today, however. Leaves are all about gone with this wind. Still 73? as we speak. Only suppose to go down to 60? tonite. Reminds me of the warm breezes on the Gulf in Oct. Going back to normal this weekend and wet. Ba Bye summer.....

Re: Brrrrrrr.

No frost here yet, but came close this morning. Glad I drained the boat last weekend. Now I just need a palce to store it out of the weather, and that's being worked on.

Now it's time to start thinking about bringing out the winter toys.

Re: Brrrrrrr.

had one morning of frost on the truck windows, but now its as nice as its been all summer! 21c now, and looking like 24c tomorrow. ( i think we might do thanksgiving dinner on the deck this year!).

thanksgiving note:.......i wish the indians would have gave the pilgrims a donkey instead of a turkey.....we would all be having a piece of something sooo different!
