I have quite a bit of historical information about the Bristol boats built by the Allen Quimby Veneer Plywood Co. of Bingham, Maine from the early 50's through the mid-sixties. I have a 1959 16 Ft. Bluefish. I'm eager to make contact with other Bristol owners. You can contact me at Foresteng@aol,com. Put Bristol boat as the subject so it doesn't get spammed.

Re: Bristol boats

Hello, I just picked up a 1961 Bristol and would appreciate any info I can get . The red pics are a color scheme I may go with, except a bit darker shade. Don

Re: Bristol boats

Hi,
My home town, Solon, is only 8 miles from Bingham and my father was a finish carpenter woking for Quimby's building the boats. I looked at some while under construction in the late 50's. I am curious what information you have. There does not seem to be much available. I now live in Ontario, Canada but my mother still lives in Solon. I would like to tour one of the yachts if any have survived.
Jim
