Make no mistake here Boom, that was a victory for the betterment of mankind, now we have to wait for another 20 yr's to clean out the fallout, kinda like GB is doing now and he deserve's every minute of brain damge he get's for his lack of or better said his direction or lack of it between the state and big business...

No illusions here Vlad, that the French will take one giant leap to the right, but you have to admit, it is a considerable leap to even turn ones head 180 deg's. We all know the 'body' cannot move that fast, even if it is inclined to.

It is also axiomatic, that a country so focused on human nature destroying socialism, will be antagonistic to such a freemarket, capitalistic society as the US. With a change in focus I think it would be safe to say, they become freer to re-associate with the US.
