Freshly rebuilt Evinrude looper Currently propped for 6000 Maybe getting ahead of myself

From my understanding Double oil for first ten hours, 50:1 plus Auto oiler
Hour 1 Idle- very low rpms
Hours 2-4- RPMS 3700-4000 rpms and below, short 10 sec burst to WOT
Hours 5-10 Vary the 5000 rpms and below, short 10 sec burst to WOT
Change plugs and switch back to just auto oil
Break in complete?

Question Can waterskiing be done anytime before the Break in is complete Hours 5-10? hours 8-10?

Normally slalom, but could get up on two and drop to lower the load and strain on the motor. Typicaly ski ski 4200-4400 rpms, about 30 mph

Friends, ski on two about 3800 rpms

What about tubing?

Don't forget to re-torque the cylinder heads.

The actual procedure is set by the rebuilder. It has everything to do with what they used for piston to wall clearances. Let the person who's supplying the warranty outline the proceedures in writing.

Adding oil is only to verify the oil injection is working. We do the idle only time from a tank with premix only. You do not need extra oil at idle.

They did some idle time in the test tank. And are lake testing today. They plan on completing the first 1 to 1 and a half for me.

Will get their procedure, the above post is what I gathered from searching on here and another site.
