bravo1 gear oil drain plug

hello, Ive drained my lower unit gear oil on my bravo 1 outdrive and am wondering if I should replace the washers that seal the drain and vent plugs while oil is drained. Not sure if its a good practice or if its not broke dont fix it scenario.

thanks. picked up 2 and installed, just took some time to clear out the old fiber (cardboard) ones of course
