Hard to imagine why you would need to add more blades to a Bravo 3. Anyway, I never heard of them even making a set of props that would fit a Bravo 3. Only thing listed on their Mercruiser sterndrive page is Alpha, Bravo 1 and Bravo 2.

Have you verified with them that they have props available for a Bravo 3?

Re: Bravo III prop replacement ?

Howdy,

I have seen the ads for those props.

I would expect those props to work a little better on a very heavy cruiser type boat.

2 extra blades will increase the drag.

It'll be similar to going from a 3 blade to a 4 blade prop.

You're only starting with about 300 propshaft HP anyway, so you might not notice a lot of improvement.

Those 4 blade BIII props cost a small fortune too...... You can buy a set of used Bravo III props on ebay all the time for anywhere from $300-500....

Unless you're going to install a tricked out 502 or a Merc 555 etc, I think you might be disappointed in the lack of performance improvement.....

Cheers,

Rick

These props sell for about $1,100.00 to 1,300.00 a set.
