Bravo 2 Unknown parts

I found some loose metal plates and some worn rubber that had held them together in the exhaust cavity between the upper unit on my 1999 Bravo 2 and the bell housing. I have attached a pic. Does anyone know what these are?

Problem solved. One of my exhaust shutters fell apart and found it's way into the exhaust cavity between the bell housing and upper unit.

Ayuh,.... Glad ya figured it out....

It had to either be the shutters,...
Or,...
You had a tap-dancer dancin' in yer exhaust....
