I’m bought this bravo 3 gimbal housing because my bravo 1 has corrosion on the water inlet . I was told by some people on a fb group they are basically the same. Now that I have them side by side there are some extra holes and missing threaded holes I circled in the picture. Not even sure what would go in the hole next to the water inlet?

I guess I’ll just silicone up my water inlet and use it anyways. Bought the updated hose kit so hopefully it doesn’t leak .

My Bravo 1 corrosion. Is that bad? I could maybe try welding it up if it is?

What year was the original one and what motor was it?
That top circled one is for the drive oil line fitting.
The missing hole, I don't know, but the pitot tube line goes in the other one.
What was all connected on the original one?

The old one almost looks really odd and doesn't look anything like my current early ('95) B3 or even my last early B1, especially missing the oil line fitting boss.

Have not seen one like that before, and your going to need the missing screw hole

Wonder if it's maybe for a ITS (Integrated Transom System)
