I have been fighting with a no spark issue on my 1979 115, I replaced everything electrical on it.

Sometimes I get spark, but most of the time I do not. So I have started testing the new parts to see if they are faulty right out of the box.
I checked my sierra stator and I think it might be to blame, but want to get some more opinions.
When ohming out the stator, I get zero from red to blue, and open from red/white to blue/white. But I get 6.2 ohms from blue to blue/white. and .1 from red to red/white.
The old stator I got 6.2 from red to blue, and nothing from red/white to blue/white.

ok, ignore this whole thing... it was the stator.

I put in the old one that was missing the yellow wires and it fired right up. Guess I am ordering a new one and seeing if sierra will refund or at least send me another one I can use as a spare.
