brand new 60HP Yamaha 4 stroke problem

Brand new boat and motor-took out first time yesterday. Followed breakin procedure and stayed at 2000rpm for 1 hr then 3000for one hr. Problem is when go over about 4100 rpm after a few minutes motor kind of vibrates and then loses power and stalls. Won't immed. restart. Have to wait 5 mins.and then restarts- What could be wrong? I've spent a lot of money on this new rig!

You have a little screw-like fitting on the cap of your gas tank. Make sure this is open.The tank must be able to get air when the engine is running,to replace the gas the engine burns.<br />Congrats on the new ride.
