When adjusting for low speed idle circuits for after installing Boyesen reeds, does anyone know if you can just back out the idle mixture screw to richen the idle, or do you have to remove carb bowls and change the low speed jets/orifice to run idle more rich, thanks,

That would depend on the model of your engine, some you simply do it with adjustment some require adjustment and different back drag jets and some require different low speed orifices

Re: Boyesen, air/fuel jets

thanks for fast reply, the motor is a 91 mariner 40 hp 2 cyl and 2 keikhen carbs, the boyesen instructions seems to generalize the area of weather i have air or fuel jets and I'm not sure if to change jets AND back out idle air/fuel mixture screw, or just to do whatever it takes for it not to sneeze, at the moment no sneeze/cough, thanks again
