Bought a new prop and have questions.

I bought a prop that was proper fit per Iboats rep, but once I received it, upon visual inspection, it appears longer. My question, the spline washer before the nut only goes down about 80% coverage on the spline. The bolt has enough length and extra inch, but the propeller appears to be a little longer and therefore, the washer that goes on does not quite go down all the way. Think I am ok, is this common, etc? Pictures if needed, but when I contact Iboats, they tell me to call Solas lol. Just looking for additional input.

Are you talking about the top washer?If so ive never had on that seats full length either .Using same for 2 motors and 10 plus years.Which hub do you have?Vortex hubs do not need a washer for the top ,just the castle nut.
