based on that you might not think so but I wonder how many amps the oil pressure safety switch is rated for? I have read of these switches being over loaded by the draw of the pump if a relay isn’t used…

good point, I did bypass it at one time, which did not eliminate the problem, however the switch could heat up and interrupt B+, 1.2 AMPS isn't much, will find out the capacity of the switch.

Amazon lists it at 15 Amps, however it is made in China
