bottom cylinder no fire

1996 6hp evinrude, bottom plug is not getting a spark, swapped the plug and wire, no result, it randomly started working last time out, then stopped for a while, then started working again, coil pack???????? what are the orange and blue wires for that connect to the coil pack??????? could they be the issue??????? wondering if i can do this on my own or if im just gonna waste money swapping parts, and should take it in????????

with that being a single coil set up the most likely suspect is the powerpack...
