Any recommendations for a surface material for trailer bunk boards that support the bottom of a StarCraft boat that is kind to a Rust-Oleum paint job?
.
Has carpet been working out good for you, or is there another product that you have had good success with - that's been easy on a Rust-Oleum paint job?

This is how far I've gotten with my conversion from all rollers.

Doing research I found that marine carpet specifically for bunks is supposed to be the best for painted boats.
Of three recommended brands I went with Cuda.

I always used any cheap carpet I could find. Leave the bottom of the bunk board open, ( not covered in carpet) this way the water is not retained and carpet and boards last longer. Cheap carpet and plain old 2x4's lasted about 5-6 years and sometimes longer...
