HEAT wave!! Yesterday it was below zero and today is t-shirt weather at 22 degrees. We finally got our first real snow of the season here 14-18" accompanied by some nice 25 mph + winds....... can you say Drifting :D Here I sit at the office with the plow truck 5 miles away parked in my door yard. I guess I will be doing some plowing tonight and tomorrow morning.

Killington Mt. resort must be happy :D

We got about 1/2 that in the greater Boston area . . . definitely a heat wave though . . . 32 degrees and sleet. I might put on a long sleeve t-shirt to snow-blow the driveway. :) 8" of snow last night.

Ayuh,.... It IS pretty balmy here today too,.... 6? above 0?,....

Got a fair amount of snow yesterday, 'n overnight,... probably 8", maybe 12",...
Pretty good sized banks down by the hi-way,...
My truck would plow through it, but maybe not the ole lady's car,...

Gonna have to fire up the backhoe, 'n plow the driveways this mornin',...

We just got some fluff last nite. Going to just clean up the paved drives, which is a small amount of my total accounts. I'm going to wait a little while because it's -20............

We got about 10 - 12 before the freezing rain made it shrink a couple inches. Lots of plowing last night after hunting/ walking all day. Boy did I sleep well last night!

Please do come and come often. There are too many boarded up stores in that town. If you need a place to eat, try a restaurant called "The Ice House" in Mexico you will not be sorry.
Next time you go up there,go across the road from Fat Nancy. You will find the same products ,but they are 10 to 30 percent cheaper across the board.
I appreciate the information. I'll check it out when I'm up that way the end of Jan., early Feb.

When is the best time to charter a float trip with a guide?

A good float trip should be done when the salmon crowd has gone back home. The salmon river has given new meaning to the term "combat fishing" during the fall run. Now that the salmon are gone,it is quiet again.
For steelhead and browns the time is from now until february when they start falling back into the lake.
For salmon, you should come out on the lake in summer and troll.
