Hello Bondo.
Can you please tell us how to measure snow when Lady Lake Ontario decides to cover your house up to the roof?
I bet that you can tell us from very recent experience.
I have a customers in Kingston, ON. and Oswego NY. Always some anxiety about visiting those customers in the winter. The upside is a stroll around Fat Nancy's every time I'm up that way.
Ayuh,.... I'm well North of the snowbelt, but have family/ friends in Orwell,...
Matt's been shovelin' a couple days now,...
We've gotten but a dustin' here outside Watertown, to the North,...
Couple inches in the driveway, plows been by a couple times over a couple days,...
My Love, Deb went to Syracuse today to see a sickly brother,...
Shoulda been home an hour or so ago,...
No phone call, no worries here, she grew up in Sandy Creek/ Sandy Pond,...
If the phone does ring,.... the pickup is fueled up, pulled in, 'n sittin' on good tires,...
Again,... No worries,....
Chaumont River, Ny
Oh, thats where you are.
I spent 3 days in Syracuse, Watertown, Carthage, and then to Star Lake for a funeral a few years ago.
Sadly, we had no time to really check the area out.
But I do remember the drive up to Star Lake , and the gas stations that don't have bathrooms.
Well since I am in southern California I can't be of no help to you.:couch2: But if I did have that type of technical weather glitch, then I would consider calling up a friend like WIMUSKY to come plow the snow away for me.
I'd trade the snow for the freezing rain we are getting. Just waiting for the power lines to start snapping.
I don't know, last bad one had us without power for eight days and there was no going anywhere if it wasn't an emergency. Could hardly get around even with the 4 wheel drive tractor and walking was an even money bet on remaining on your feet to go a hundred foot.
WIMUSKY, come on down. Bring some Leinies with you.....
....and a few kringles from O&H bakery in Racine
....and some somersausage from Old Wisconsin sausage in Sheboygan
