Bolt Size & Nut Size For Alternator On Mercruiser 5.7?

Hi everyone,

Can anyone please advise what size bolt (and nut) I need to attach the bottom section of an alternator to the lower, adjustable bracket?

My old alternator was completely rusted out (bolts and all) and so I bought a new replacement, but it did not come with any mounting bolts.

I asked the manufacturer and they didn't know...

Any help is appreciated!

the lower adjuster is a 5/16 x 18 x 3/4 bolt takes a 1/2 inch wrench or socket
