I have a 70 Johnson around 1985, starts fine , idles fine, start to acclerate and it " BOGGS OUT" ,if I run at a slow speed, after a few minutes it picks up speed on its own.I have a new tank and lines plus new fuel pump, had carb jets cleaned and its still the same, yet on occasion it works perfectly. Two different marine dealers cant figure it out.Thanks

Hi Chris,<br />Does the bogging down occur on and off? Or after it quites does it stop until the next outing?
