Bogging down.

I have a 2013 yamaha 25hp 4 stroke and when I give it quick throttle it bogs down and then goes right up. I put a new carb and plugs on it last year and it still does it. Any clues on what to check.

I am not very familiar with that 4-stroke motor, but timing advancement and additional fuel is needed when load is applied. since you replaced the carb, I would be monitoring the timing to make sure it is in spec and advancing as it should

Because of Emissions the carbed motors are jetted extremely lean at an idle, that can cause the problem you are having. They are extremely easy to plug up, might be time for a carb cleaning. Or your idle is to low, Or something you have to live with
