Dog shoots man: Medics remove 27 pellets from hunter's buttocks

The Salt Lake City Tribune said the wounded hunter was transported to Brigham City Community Hospital about 9 a.m. Sunday, where doctors removed 27 pellets of birdshot. It said neither the dog, nor any ducks, were injured.

Could be, my take is that Fido was ticked because "Dad" is a bad shot and missed so Fido was training him properly....


Or Fido was simply explaining the value of properly setting the "Safety" on a loaded Firearm to "Dad"....

I wonder if he left the safety off? the dog could have released it though stepping on it. It would have been better if he knocked it off into the water!!....blub blub blub!!! I bet the hunter won't do that again

Can you imagine trying to explain to the Doc and cops what happened? The injury to the back side would be minor compared to the damage to a guys pride.

Better yet....


Officer-"Sir, your telling me the dog shot you in the backside? Are you involved in a relationship with the Dog? Did you have an arguement? Did you ever threaten the Dog in any way or have a weapon on you and then present that weapon to the dog in a threatening way?"

Victim-"NO WE DIDN'T HAVE A FREAKING ARGUEMENT! WHAT KIND OF RELATION.... WHAT ARE YOU SICK!! I WANT TO TALK TO YOU OOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW"

Officer-"Sir please calm down but we have to get answers to these questions and the Dogs not talking...."

If he's a good duck dog, he probably feels awfull about the whole thing. sounds like the work of a young overzelous pup, and an idiot hunter. To bad he didnt leave the gun in the bottom of the boat, might have sunk it! I'm glad the dog wasn't hurt and nobody was killed.
