Oh, we're also doing 5 factory fresh 2026 Cobalts, $250k+ boats, that had scratches, cracks, spot ins not sanded and buffed, and just crappy buffing. The marina ordered them for a boat show next month and found lots of problems. One is all black, so it shows everything.
One is already done and gone.

Here it is all shinyed up and mostly back together. It's back on the trailer now, ready to be cleaned and the last few things finished up.

Ikon was moved into the wash bay yesterday to wait for a few parts. I started on a small spot on a waverunner, and one side of the trim for the overhead door was coming off so I had to screw that back on. I hate philips screws, stripped like five of them.

Productive day yesterday. I sanded and buffed the waverunner and put it back together, then started on the Ranger I'm doing next. Geound, glassed, took some stuff off, and got the lids ready to take off. Just a few screws left to hold then until I get some help this morning.






Then I went home and was replacing all the insides of the toilet tank until about 9:30.

I have to say you have a fun job. Being able to do different stuff on different water craft all the time is a plus for keeping things fun. Would be for me anyway.
As for the toilet tank repair I’d take that over dealing with a macerator pump any day.
That was my Sunday morning joy. Someone has been flushing rubber gloves down the toilet and they jammed up the impeller.

We have one at the shop. About 10 years ago, there was a guy wiping with and flushing paper towels down the toilet. Boss said it clogged it up.

Who would flush rubber gloves anyway?

Right I mean there is a trash can right next to the toilet. I have my suspect in mind but a few people wear them so everyone was warned that I’m not the one going in next time.
