boating/camping around binghamton ny

I am looking for a place to go boating/camping in new york state around binghamton (which is about 60 miles south of syracuse ny). facilities are cool, but not necesary, really looking to fish and camp rustic style, you know, launch the boat drive to a spot in the boat, set up camp, gather fire wood and go fishing. hopefully catch dinner. I have a 62 crestliner 14 ft w/ a 40 hp johnson. Please help me find this spot.

I'm not real familiar with the Binghampton area but when travelling the interstate to the west I've seen some boats on the river in Owego. I think there might be a campground there as well. Their site: http://www.villageofowego.com/

I havn't been here myself (yet) but have heard some great stories about it. A couple hours trailer ride from Binghamton but well worth the trip.
