Boat wouldn't start, left stranded

We took our boat out, after a short ride we stopped to get fuel. We left the blower and radio on while fueling. When I tried to start the boat the tach and speedo gauge spun around but the boat never cranked over at all. Checked all the wiring connections and fuses and everything seemed to be in order. Had sea- tow drag me home. Hooked up a battery charger and charged the battery, still nothing.

My thoughts are that it either has to be the main iginition switch or the safety lanyard dead man switch that have gone bad. Any help would be appreciated.

Check the batt voltage, then check the voltage at the starter main power batt cable, If they are not the same then the pos batt cable is bad.

If its the main ign switch you should be able to crank it by jumping the starter.

Just a thought.

Either or both battery cables have a bad connection. Remove and clean.
