When you hear the click have someone check if the battery cables get warm/hot

If they do, pull some plugs and check for water, might be hydro locked

Are you located near Texas or a place which got freezing temps?
How long have you had the boat?

Is your motor a Merc, VP or other?

I just had the boat in the water running a week and a half ago I had a problem with the battery not charging so when I went to replace the alternator I should have disconnected the battery first because it aren't I ended up replacing the alternator the starter the slave solenoid and the 90 AMP I know the motor is not seized and I know the start of works

There have been a lot of busted blocks this season. From Texas, was just checking

Place a voltmeter on the starter post and ground. Voltage should be 12.5 to 22.7 volts. Leave meter on and turn key to start. Voltage should not fall below 11 volts
