Boat won't sail straight....worn steering gear?

I have a 2000 Bayliner Capri, 17.5 feet, 135 Merc I/O. Runs great, especially since I installed a water seperating filter, but at slow speeds, +/- 25 knots, I have to constantly correct the steering. The steering wheel gear doesn't have too much slop, I don't think.(how much is acceptable?) The tab is offest a little, about 15 degrees on the stern drive. Any suggestions? Thanks,Larry

Ayuh,...... You've got a Problem.......

If it's wandering at Idle/ Trolling speeds,.......

It's perfectl Normal,+ the general nature of a V Hull.........
