Boat Transport Company, 30ft +

I am seriously considering buying a 30 ish' convertible sedan approximately 200 miles from my Upstate NY home port. The last boat I bought was trailerable, so it wasnt hard or expensive to have it hauled home.

Before I start messing with quotes and such, does anyone have a ballpark clue to what companies charge for 9 and 10' beam inboard boats?

Thanks - the price of shipping may affect which boats I look at, and how far away they are...obviously.

Just a quick question. I am assuming she cannot go by water? Under her own power? Weather issue?

.
This is about the cheapest place to find good shippers, and make sure you read the bidders profiles and the feed back that people left on there delivery experience.

Check their insurance and Dot #'s

You can list your boat and it will cost you nothing to list it, and you do not have to accept any bid and can close the bidding at your choice.

The cost to ship estimator is only to give you an idea of what it might cost you.

Easy to follow instructions.

Sorry to jump into this thread like this, but I just joined and I dont knwo how to start a new one... >_<

Can anyone tell me 1. how to start my own thread or topic?

and the reason I joined, I am looking for someone in the NY, NJ area who can build Boat Cradles, and do Shrink Wrapping Jobs for Boats and Yachts.
I do a lot of shipping of boats and yachts over seas and I am in need of one or a few good companies who I can count on to build boat cradles for shipping, and do a good job shrink wrapping. anything??
