I have a trailer with the manufactor name Sctottsboro Machine & Tool with s/n 1451 185 but no VIN number how can I get it

If it has one look on left side of the tongue inside the frame, and also look on right side near tail light

I bought a boat with a trailer got a bill of sale for the boat but not trailer l have a manufactures name and s/n but no VIN number .l have not got any response from the person that l bought it from how can l go about getting a tag in Ga. What can l do

Talk with the registering authority as to what you need to have done. It may involve...

*visit from state police to verify no vin/sn
*weight slip from certified scale
*registering as homemade where state police issue a new vin/sn

Only by going to the registering authority will you know what you need.

You should never walk away from a sale without having all your paperwork !! Getting it afterwards can be very difficult !!

If the VIN plate is illegible, you should have no problem registering as homemade
