Boat trailer bunk bracket question

Hey guys,

I am rebuilding my boat trailer, and I cannot find brackets that would look like this, to give me the angle to match the hull, and also so they sit along the trailer rail. Anyone have any info on this? The trailer in this picture is similar to mine and this is exactly the route I want to go.

Thanks

A metal fabrication place could easily make them for you if you had the dimensions.

Have not seen that type but could make them out of some steel flat stock, or from a welding shop

LoadRite makes a self leveling bunk assembly that you could probably adapt

I have just used long enough 2 " wide by 6 8 or 10" wood beams Beveled to fit flush on boat bottom. Or cut all the bevel to lay flat on the trailer rails. Either way works fine. Some of us just used flat Aluminum plates about 3" by 5" to secure the beams to the frame.

Another solution, probably much easier,is to put a thick silicone or soft rubber layer under the carpet. That way, the bunk will adapt to the shape of the hull.
