Boat taking on water and I have no idea why

I have a 2007 sea chaser 24ft walk around it has 45 hours on it I’ve had a problem with water coming in since I got it I’ve taken it to shops and they said it was rain water I’ve inspected the haul and closed all potential water intakes including live well and raw water wash down most recently I’ve taken it to the lake and as soon as I put it in water started rushing into the bilge area in from what looks like a tube running to the front of the boat we waited for the water to stop and it seemed to slow down but after a quick maybe 30 minutes in the water I looked inside my cuddly cabin and it was filled with 4-6 inches of water please help I have no idea what this could be is it just be seemingly hundreds of gallons of rain water like the shop says or are my problems bigger if so where do I start

If water was gushing in my boat, I'll pull it out of the water immediately.

You could always intentionally flood it on land with a garden hose.

Where the water comes out , is where it comes in.

This is a very bad idea. It is a good way to introduce water to areas of the boat that shouldn’t get wet and there is a very good chance the leak won’t be revealed.

Valid point. I take that back. But I think the damage is already done.

OP is your boat already filled with 6 inches of water ?

Filling a boat with water, you will never equal amount of pressure that is put on the source of the leak when the boat is sitting in water.

OP is your boat already filled with 6 inches of water ?

Their seems to be no damage Its an outboard and the cuddly doesn’t have carpet just fiberglass and it’s all drained now

When you say the water goes out the bilge pump, do you mean with the pump running? The hose that runs to the front of the boat that water comes in from, do you know where that goes? Is there some kind of opening in your hull below the water line for live well or anything else? Maybe pictures would help.

Outboard powered? Although you looked them over, it is likely one of the thru hull fittings has a leaking or broken hose on it. It could be the cockpit scuppers, or one of the other fittings. The outlet of the scuppers is usually below or at the waterline. Those plastic scuppers do crack after a while, ditto on the corrugated hose they use on them.

It’s the wire fest thing it’s a pvc tube not a hose and it has some sort of wires assuming they correlate with the outboard and it’s rushing from the front where their really isn’t much going on in the way of through entrances I’ll try to take some pictures later today and get back
