Re: boat stalls when put in gear after running fine
If the engine floods in between, just put it in neutral, push the "neutral throttle button", and advance the throttle as far as it will go, then try starting it. It should start, but run rough (rich), gradually bring the throttle back to idle as it starts to clear up.
If you can get it to shift properly, Yes, you could run in reverse on the muffs.
I'm currently adrift. Boat runs fine for a while until i stop. Then when i put in gear (forward or reverse) it stalls and wont start back up. After about an hour it starts back up fine. Ive already adjusted lower shift cable and timing.
Any ideas? Also any way ro get it to restart sooner?
