Help!!! I am looking for a smaller powerboat that my Wife and I can operate easily and is easy to launch, tow, maintain, etc... I have been out of boating for over 15 years and always owned jet boats in the past. I have found a couple boats in my area that I am interested in but one of them is a manufacturer that I have never heard of. My question is: Has anyone owned or had experience with "Bluewater Boats"? Specifically an 18 ft. "Falcon" (1999)? It is an open bow with a 4.3 ltr. engine, (I think it said "vortec" which would mean GM?) and Mercruiser Alpha One outdrive.
The other boat I am interested in is a 1996 SeaRay 190 open bow. Has a 5.7 ltr. Mercruiser with an Alpha 1 outdrive. The boats are both attractive and sound good but there is about a 3 thousand dollar difference in price. Is the Sea Ray that much better a boat???
Any help anyone can give would be greatly appreciated! Like I said my experience is only with big motors and jet pumps....
